HELLOME.US, INC. has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content, conduct, or use of HelloMe that sexualizes, endangers, exploits, or facilitates the abuse of a minor.
These standards apply to every part of the HelloMe service, on every platform where it is distributed, and to every person who uses it. They are published in compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy and Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines.
The following are strictly forbidden on HelloMe and result in immediate removal:
- Creating, uploading, storing, requesting, or sharing CSAM or any sexualized depiction of a minor, real or generated.
- Grooming — building a relationship with a minor to enable sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Sextortion, or threatening to share intimate imagery of a minor.
- Trafficking, soliciting, or arranging the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Using a display name, profile photo, or status text to advertise, allude to, or seek any of the above.
- Any other conduct that endangers a child.
Violating these standards also violates our
Terms of Service and results in permanent termination of the account, without refund and without notice.
HelloMe is deliberately built as a small, mutual-consent presence app rather than an open social network. Several design choices reduce the surface area for abuse:
- No stranger discovery. There is no public profile, no search-by-interest, no “people you may know,” and no way to browse other users. You cannot encounter someone you did not deliberately add.
- Mutual consent required. A connection exists only when both people accept it. Either side can sever it at any time.
- No open messaging. HelloMe does not provide a chat or direct-message system. It shares a status color and a short status note with people already in your circles.
- No media sharing between users. There is no mechanism to send images, video, or files to another person through HelloMe.
- Blocking and reporting are available on every person, at any time.
Anyone can report a child safety concern, whether or not they use HelloMe.
- In the app: open the person’s profile and choose Report. Reports about a minor’s safety are escalated ahead of all other reports.
- By email: support@hellome.us. This inbox is monitored and reports are triaged on receipt.
You do not need an account, and you do not need to be the affected person, to make a report. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
When we receive a credible child safety report we:
- Review it promptly, ahead of other report categories.
- Suspend the reported account while we investigate where the report is credible on its face.
- Permanently terminate confirmed violating accounts and block re-registration where we are able to.
- Preserve the associated records as required for law enforcement, then remove violating content from the service.
We do not require the reporter to identify themselves, and we do not disclose the reporter’s identity to the reported person.

Reporting to Authorities
HELLOME.US, INC. reports apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, as required of U.S. electronic service providers under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and cooperates with resulting law enforcement requests.
Where a report concerns a user outside the United States, we additionally cooperate with the relevant regional and national authorities and reporting bodies.
Members of the public may also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.
HelloMe is not directed to children under 13, and users under 13 are not permitted to create an account. If we learn that we hold information from a child under 13, we delete it. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
