HelloMe is a patented mobile app for real-time availability signaling among close friends — a simple colored status that says "I'm here for you" without a single message sent.
Existing tools require active checking (WhatsApp, iMessage) or feel intrusive for personal use (Zoom, Teams). No app focuses on intimate availability signals for best friends.
One glance, three colors — your close friends always know if you're free to talk, busy, or just up for texting. No checking in. No pressure. Just presence.
Available for calls — your friends can reach out anytime, no questions asked.
Busy — a gentle signal to hold off, without feeling like a rejection.
Free for text — open to a message, even if a call isn't ideal right now.
Manually set your status, visible to 2–10+ approved close friends only.
Tap a friend's icon to instantly connect via your preferred messaging or calling app.
Status defaults to Purple after 24 hours if forgotten — always fresh, never stale.
Privacy-first by design — built for intimacy, not broadcast.
From download to connection in four taps. Built to feel as effortless as glancing at a friend across the room.
Select your messaging preferences and link your favorite apps.
Invite 2–10+ close friends from your contacts — they approve the link.
View your friends' real-time colors and set your own in one tap.
Tap a friend's icon to text or call seamlessly — no extra steps.

HelloMe lets you share your real-time communication status (for example, whether you are free to talk, busy, or prefer text) with a limited group of trusted contacts, so that you and your connections can choose the most appropriate way to reach each other.
If someone sends you a friend request, we may receive your name or contact info from their device solely to facilitate that request. You control whether to accept, decline, or ignore it.
California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA to: know and access their personal information; request deletion or correction; opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither); and not be discriminated against for exercising rights.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and port their data.

The Service is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly. Contact privacy@hellome.us if you believe a child has submitted information.
We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce agreements.
We use encryption in transit, hashed password storage, and need-to-know access controls to protect your information.
